FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do I select an employment professional that is right for me?
It is recommended that you research employment professionals before taking up services. A good place to start is to look at a variety of websites to inform your decision making - look at recent testimonials, experience, qualifications and affiliations.
I pride myself on offering a service that is based on strong personal values of quality, service and integrity.
My academic credentials:
How will you be able to provide me with a detailed CV that markets me to my industry, in my country?
Once we have established a date to start work, I will ask you to provide me with your current CV, if you have one. If not I will ask you for some basic information about your career. Before I start your work, I will send your some questions (based on your CV) to help me showcase your experience, skills and accomplishments so I can market you strongly to your industry in New Zealand.
How do I book services?
Once you have made an initial inquiry, either via my website or direct, I will contact you, normally within 48 hours to find out what service(s) you require, dependent upon your needs and goals. I will then send an email to you confirming your requirements and provide you with a suggested date for a Skype consultation. For those clients outside of New Zealand, I ensure that appointment times offered are reasonable.
How do I pay for services?
There are two ways to pay, either via PayPal or internet banking. I request a 50% deposit prior to working with you and the final payment is due on delivery of your work - when you are 100% satisfied. Please note all international PayPal payments will incur an additional 5.5% banking fee.
Does it matter where I live?
No. Coach 2 Success has assisted clients in many countries around the world.
How long will I have to wait for my CV?
CVs usually take 2/3 business days to complete from the agreed appointment date. You will first receive a draft copy, so you can review your document before it is finalised. You may request any changes at this stage.
What happens if I need my CV updated in the future?
You will receive a PDF and Word version of your finalised CV so you can, if you wish, make future updates yourself or you can contact with me and I will be happy to assist you. I will retain a copy of your CV in my records; however, if you DO NOT want me to keep your information, please advise me and I will delete it.
Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), what are they and why does my CV need to be ATS friendly?
Applicant tracking systems act as an electronic gatekeeper for an employer. The ATS parses a CV's content into categories and then scans it for specific keywords to determine if the job application should be passed along to the recruiter. Its job is to essentially weed out unqualified applicants so the recruiter can devote his or her time to evaluating the candidates who are more likely to be a match for the position. In other words, the ATS is apt to toss the least-qualified candidates, rather than identify the applicants who are the best fit.
Unfortunately, that means if a CV/resume is not written with the applicant tracking system in mind, i.e. it must adhere to strict formatting requirements, a qualified candidate can be easily passed over.
